01 Is it free?

OkamiCode is open source. You run it with the AI subscriptions and CLIs you already have — no second API bill.

02 Do I need a paid API?

No. It uses your existing subscriptions and local CLIs. Paid inference APIs are never a silent fallback.

03 Which platforms?

The first release targets macOS on Apple Silicon. More platforms may follow.

04 Does my data leave my machine?

No. Data, indexes and execution stay local by default. External content is treated as untrusted.

05 Is it really open source?

Yes — the code lives on GitHub under OkamiOps/OkamiCode. Issues and pull requests are welcome.

06 When does it launch?

It's in active development. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when early access opens.
